How will the pictures look?
All images are captured with professional digital cameras through professional lenses and are 3072 x 2048 pixels or 11"x17" and they are approximately 8.2 mega pixels in quality. This means you can get a poster 20"x30" and it will look excellent. 8"x10" and 16"x20" pictures may have to be cropped in order to get the print without white borders on both sides. If the image you select is a full frame of the person in the picture, you may loose some of the person to product the an 8"x10" and 16"x20" print. We will always do our best to ensure that the image is the best possible print.
When we receive your order, prior to printing, we will do custom pre-print processing What this means is, we use professional image editing software to make adjustments to each image individually in order to make it it's very best. This process is all done by hand, as each image will vary from the next. Brightness, contrast, color tint, color saturation and sharpness will all be adjusted for optimum quality prior to printing.

How will my images be cropped?
If the photo you choose does have wasted space on the top or bottom, and sides, we generally will crop to produce a better image. Images are left "as is" on the web so they can be modified to fit many print sizes you select. The same professional cameras and lenses used by many of the top professionals around the world to capture images for things like magazines, where only the best will do. The high resolution capabilities of the cameras and lenses we use not only make the smaller sized prints look amazing, but also allow us to print large poster sized images while still maintaining a extremely high degree of image quality. There are two types of cropping Custom Cropping, which is done free of charge to every image prior to printing, and Forced Cropping which is done only on certain paper sizes and on a requested basis.
Custom Cropping
All images are custom cropped by us prior to printing. Many times we intentionally shoot the the photos a little loose to allow for more cropping options later. Please keep this in mind when viewing your proofs. If you think the participant might be a little small in the frame or not centered the way you like, don't worry, that is usually a good thing as it allows us to creatively crop out any unwanted parts of the photo and position the participant in the image the way that will look best.
Forced Cropping (Based on the size of the enlargement you choose)
This is done depending of which paper size you choose for your finished print. It involves the aspect ratio of the camera's original image in relation to the aspect ration of the paper size, namely 5"x7", 8"x10" and 11"x14" sized prints. Sound complicated? It's not, we put together a page that will clear this up for you.

How can I get you to shoot our game or event?
Just ask, we would love to come if we don't have prior commitments! Simply give us a call or email us to discuss details. Just so you know, we tend to stay booked many weeks/months in advance, so waiting until the last minute may make it impossible for us to accommodate your event.
